10 Paradox and its opinion

I try to give my opinion about 10 paradoxes by Mihaly about creative people, and here the paradoxes and my opinions:

1.      Creative people have a great deal of physical energy, but they’re also often quiet and at rest.

Creative people mostly have a great deal with physical energy because they usually think out of the box and distribute their creative think by physic like using by their body language to represent their creative think. They also often quiet and I think the quietness of them means inside their mind they think something extraordinary.

2.      Creative people tend to be smart yet naive at the same time.

Creative people tend to be smart because they have unordinary thinking skills that can make them easier to understand something and maybe solving problem even though they do it in their own way and. They tend to be smart because they see something different and usually not in the same pattern. Because of that too they tend to be naïve at the same time. Usually they said anything that come to their mind but common people think what they say is not feasible.

3.      Creative people combine playfulness and discipline, or responsibility and irresponsibility.

Creative people combine playfulness and discipline. They play to get creative idea, to learn from something they don’t know, to get inspiration and dream something. They combine it with discipline in order to implement their ideas. A Creative people are responsible of what their ideas and its implementation, Irresponsible about their huge of creative thought which can be unpredictable and has no limit.

4.      Creative people alternate between imagination and fantasy, and a rooted sense of reality.

I think everybody is live with imagination and fantasy. But creative people usually try to make their imagination achieved even though their imagination is not possible. Their sense of reality can make them try to make something impossible become possible. With creativity, the imaginations that you dream would become real.

5.      Creative people trend to be both extroverted and introverted.

Not all creative people follow trend to be both like that. They should not influence by trend, creative people should be just they are.

6.      Creative people are humble and proud at the same time.

It can be one of creative people typical. They usually do not want to show up and let other people judge their idea or creativity. An idea/creativity that can be accepted, brilliant, and based on their invention can make their proud at the same time.

7.      Creative people, to an extent, escape rigid gender role stereotyping.

Most of creative people escape rigid gender role stereotyping, because they want to have no limit in their creativity.

8.      Creative people are both rebellious and conservative.

Because they have an extraordinary idea and usually the creative idea is unusual for common people, it can lead they are rebellious. They want their unordinary idea accepted and they try to make it happen. Other people see this way as a rebel. Creative people belief in their idea and they think it is not impossible like other people though. They both have rebellious and conservative.

9.      Most creative people are very passionate about their work, yet they can be extremely objective about it as well.

Yes, they are passionate of their work. Because their work usually one kind of inventions of their thought, absolutely they enthusiast and have big passion to make it real. Surely they can be extremely objective about their work in order to make it extraordinary real.

10.  Creative people’s openness and sensitivity often exposes them to suffering and pain, yet also to a great deal of enjoyment.

The idea of creative people usually thought impossible by other people. They rejected and not well accepted can make them sensitivity. The process of implementation their idea or creativity can make them suffering and pain. But I think that creative people also have joy in each process and project they conduct.

Ice Jewelry

ice-jewerly1Here is a quite interesting concept of Katharina Ludwig – Ice Jewelery! Ice Jewelery Concept emphasizes the water value to human existence. The designer’s idea is to contrast warmth of the human body and coldness of ice. Ice Jewelery melts down to delight your skin. This is where your body warmth comes to destroy the beauty expressing the supreme energy it possesses by melting the ice.

Ice Jewelery Collection includes earrings, rings, necklaces, etc. They vary in shape and design. Cubs, cup-like, oval shapes are characteristic. Also, Katharina Ludwig doesn’t make quite big difference among the jewelry she uses – she combines gold and ice, silver and ice, other metals are used too. Some of the pieces are designed to catch the remaining drops of water, others allow the ice to melt directly onto the wearer.

Of course, every time the jewelery melts it will have to be recreated. Thus you can try to be the designer of your own jewelery. The idea of melting jewelery is very sensual. This is more appropriate for a romantic date.

Illuminating Prayer Rug – Sajjadah 1426

prayerug

Lighted sajjadah or prayer rug – comes from a Turkish designer, Soner Özenç. The Britain-based designer uses light as an integral element in his imaginative creations. This modern piece that he calls Sajjadah 1426 (1426 is the year 2005 in the Islamic calendar), combines technology and the Muslim culture.

Sajjadah 1426 is a piece of art and a great example of the electroluminescent phosphor printing technology. It is also quite practical. It assists the person who performs the divine service of prayers, called namaz, not just by creating an amazing atmosphere, but by actually finding the right direction to pray towards.

With the help of an imbedded compass module, the lighted motifs of the rug turn brighter the closer the rug is turned toward the direction of Mecca. This modern sajjadah introduces a brand new experience in the daily performance of namaz.

Another light thing i write.hehe because I am very interest about lamp, candles, stars, and something that can shine in dark. Now, i interest about making a Clementine candles. This is a very traditional and unique way to make such a cute and smell candles.  I want to try this because I see the instruction in www.instructables.com is very easy cheesy. Here I want to share the instruction and lets try to decorate and have a citrus scent in your room!:)

Step 1

Step2
Cut through the skin of orange around the circumstances.

Step 4

Eat the fruit and enjoy!hehe

4

Step 4

Cut a whole in the middle of the half of the orange without stem. This hole allows the heat and flame to escape. For example: cut a star pattern.

Step 5

Take the olive oil or cooking oil and pour a small amount in the half of orange with the wick. You only need to fill the bottom with ¼ oil. Try to make your wick above the oil.

51 52

Step 6

Light your candle! Take a lighter and hold it to the wick. Because the wick is still slightly damp, you will need to hold the flame on it for a few seconds to dry it out and let it soak up the oil.

61

Once the wick stays lit by itself, place the other half on top and enjoy!!

Lava Lamp

Glitter warna-warni gitu.

there’s a message behind..

See of these pic! :)

Lifebuoy Handwash

Lifebuoy Handwash

Di iklan sabun cuci tangan dengan tag line “You eat what you touch” ini, sang pembuat bisa aja bikin maksud supaya kita cuci tangan sebelum nyentuh makanan. Pengibaratan tangan yang kotor sama aja kaya tikus yang jorok menurut saya lucu bgt apalagi tikusnya dibentuk seolah-olah cupcakes. hehe

Harley Davidson

Harley Davidson

”Stop Dreaming”. Only harley davisdson can make it real. hmm mungkin itu maksud si pembuat iklan.

Creative People

For me, there are so much creative people in the world. But now, I am thinking of someone that makes me thankful that god give him an inspiration to make this addicted thing called “instant noodle”. Yes, I think the founder of instant noodle is very creative person. Do you know who the founder is? The founder of world’s first instant noodles and cup noodles is Momofuku Ando.

Momofuku Ando was the Taiwanese and Japanese founder and chairman of Nissin Food Products Co. Ltd., one of the biggest manufacturers of instant noodles today. He was dubbed as Mr. Noodle and The Noodle Papa. The history of instant noodle is beginning after the World War II, Japanese people are hungry, and war left the nation with food shortages. Ministry of Health tried to encourage people to eat bread made from wheat flour that was supplied by the United States. Ando wondered why bread was recommended instead of noodles, which were more familiar to Japanese people. So, Ando decided to develop the production of noodles by himself. The experience convinced him that “Peace will come to the world when the people have enough to eat”.

On August 25, 1958, at the age of 48, and after months of trial and error experimentation to perfect his flash-frying method, Ando marketed the first package of precooked instant noodles called Chicken Ramen. His noodles were boiled with flavoring, deep-fried with palm oil to remove moisture, and dried into a noodle cake.

Then in September 18, 1971, Ando began the sales of his most famous product, Cup Noodles with the masterstroke of providing a waterproof polystyrene container.

Why I think he’s creative?

variant of instant noodles in Indonesia

Because he can read that most people in Japan like noodles and his brilliant idea push him to find some ways to make noodles that can be proceed with instant. The successful of instant noodle is very helpful for a lot of people whose need food as soon as possible. He was success to make food that can be proceed with easy and quick.*it is help me when I really really starving. His invention also makes a trend in noodles business, and most of country inspired to produce instant noodles. Nowadays, noodles that Momofuku Ando’s found had spread in all over country with great and variant taste. In Indonesia for example, there is one company called Indofood and this company has produce noodle with much variant that have brand “Indomie”. Indonesian people like this noodle and I think this food have become a tradition in this country. Besides it has cheap price, the taste also can make people addicted. In my opinion, this creative invention that made by Momofuku Ando’s is one of the most important invention.
